The Vistron Tear Tape Check system provides automated checking of the position of the tear tape, during the production of corrugated board. The vision technology system of Vistron consists of LED lighting, a high-speed digtal camera, a processing unit with software and a touchscreen for the user interface and image presentation. The Tear Tape Check system performs a 100 % check of the tape applied to the currigated web and can be installed in Corrugators and Tape Applicators of pretty much every manufacturer.Absence of tear tape or identified deviation from the target range of the tear tape position is shown on the touchscreen and the Tear Tape Check system either marks the faulty board or even stops the corrugator, to avoid production of waste.
The Tear Tape Check Check system checks the ongoing production in real time, at a speed of up to 400 m/min. The recognition accuracy of the system is +/- 0,5 mm. The 100 % quality check of the Vistron Tear Tape Check system recognizes the following defects:
- Presence or absence of the tear tape
- Position of the tear tape on the board
The configuration and installation of the Tear Tape Check system is customized for the machine it will go into. Information about reference installations is available upon request.
