Printing

Vistron is developing systems for the printing industry since the company was founded in 2002. Checking the products for color fidelity and printing defects is as much a topic as transferring data to the controls of the machine itself. An image processing system can detect the position of the print on a sheet very precisely and setting up a new print job can be significantly accelerated by  print register recognition technology.

Within the printing industry, Vistron has become a global supplier of systems for flexo and digital presses, rotary die cutters and flexo folder gluers, which are in operation on almost every continent. The vision systems can even withstand climatic extremes, thanks to constant improvements and because of using appropriate technology.

With the multitude of systems monitoring production processes, Vistron benefits from their specific challenges and a steady stream of new experiences,  that feed directly into the continuous improvement process.

The development department is currently mainly working on innovations and extensions of print control applications, both, for the retrofitting existing production lines and for use in OEM solutions.
